Shooting Range:

F.I.T.S. offers shooters an eight-lane state-of-art indoor shooting range. Our range provides the latest technology in target handling, air quality, sound abatement and lead disposal. We allow pistols up to 45 CAL. and small bore rifles (ex. 22cal, 17hmr, 9mm carbine).  Personal reloaded ammunition is not  allowed.  All factory ammunition is allowed.

Gun rentals are available - try out different calibers & firearms before you buy.

You must be 21 years of age (or accompanied by an adult) to enter the range!

Pricing:

Member Range Fees:

     $6.00 per hour

Non-Member Law Enforcement Range Fees:

     $9.00 per hour
 

Non-Member Range Fees:

     $11.00 per hour
 

Ear & Eye Protection:

     $1.50 each rental
 

Targets:

     $0.25 to $1.99 each

The shooting range has a depth of 25 yards, which can accommodate pistol and small bore rifles. Both physical design of the range and the range operation rules are designed to promote a safe shooting environment. A NRA certified Range Safety Officer is always on duty during range operations.

Range Rules:

Basic Safety:

  • Always keep the gun pointed in a safe direction.

  • Always keep your finger off the trigger until you are ready to shoot.
  • Be sure that the gun is safe to operate.
  • Know how to use the gun safely.
  • Never use alcohol or drugs before or while shooting.
  • Use the correct ammunition for your gun.

Range Rules:

  • No loaded firearms are allowed to be in the store or class room areas at any time.

  • Always obey the instructions of the Range Safety Officer.
  • Wear eye and ear protection during the entire time you are on the range.
  • Only one firearm per lane can be fired.
  • Always keep firearms unloaded until you are ready to shoot.
  • Load and unload firearms only at the firing line.
  • Tracer, incendiary, exploder or armor piercing type ammunition is prohibited.
  • No reloads allowed. Only manufactured ammunition will be authorized.
  • Never go beyond the firing line into the range area at any time.
  • Police up your brass and any empty ammo boxes or trash.
  • Shooters should call "Cease Fire" if you see a safety hazard on the range

Violation of any of the above rules will result in dismissal from this range.
